BEER: As Nutrient Element 1 part to 40 parts water; initial response of plants most favorable; beer and 1/4 strength organic solution made plants prosper at first in normal medium; then white mold appeared caused by yeasts; controlled by ferbam, captan, Bordeaux mixture; then medium became interlaced with yeast colonies producing large quantities of C02; all plants repotted.
