ORIGIN: A Spanish small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid occurring in open woodlands with mostly pine at elevations of 900 to 1900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: A Spanish small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid occurring in open woodlands with mostly pine at elevations of 900 to 1900 meters with a slender stem carrying 2 to 6, basal, rarely erect, oval-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, 8 to 25 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
