ORIGIN: Found in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations around 2400 to 2850 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing epiphyte with green, egg-shaped, compressed, soft pseudobulbs with fine wrinkles and grooves carrying a single, apical, soft, finely grooved midvein above and keeled below leaf that blooms in the fall, spring and early summer on a basal, 8 [20 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb.
