DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid that occurs in fens and marshes with ovoid pseudobulbs, enveloped by dry sheaths, carrying 2 oblong or elliptic, acute or obtuse, glossy green leaves that are keeled below and blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, to 10 [25 cm] long, racemose, loosely few to several flowered inflorescence with successive opening flowers occurring over a long period.
