The Decoene Orchid

General Discussion

by Diane Decoene

Hi. Im Diana Decoene my grandfather was Jules Jacque Decoene. He was an orchid grower in Jarvis Brooks. My father Victor Decoene worked with him when he was on leave from the services in the orchid houses. He told me that Jules had an orchid named after hin the Decoene Orchid and that it was published in the Stuart Lowe Horticulural society book. Can you help me at all with finding this orchid please.

Hi Diane, with orchids we have some great databases but I looked in Orchid Wiz & did not find either Decoene or Jarvis Brooks. Was this in the UK?
