I am looking for a Trichocentrum luridum plant or seeds of Trichocentrum luridum. Does anyone have a dividion for sale or seeds available or know of anywhere to buy these? Also known as Lophiaris lurida or IOncidium luridum.

10 months agoI contacted Phillip Hamilton from Bredren Orchids and he said he may have one or two luridums at his nursery. He must be working at a show. You can check with Phillip. -

10 months agoYou are correct, the accepted name is Trt luridum. It is from Central and South America. I don’t see that one has received an award since 2015; sometimes I find specific plants that way. And I googled it and did not find one. If you are in the US you could go to the Rare Plant & Orchid Show in Redlands, FL Oct 22, 2023 or the Redlands show next spring. I would guess you might find one from a FL, Jamaica or Central American vendor. I have an inquiry out to a vendor and will let you know what I hear. Carol
