Searching for Erycina echinata

General Discussion

by Catherine Chance

Desperately trying to locate Erycina echinata for a birthday gift for my father.  He had the plant years ago, but greenhouses in Texas aren't always cooperative. I've sent messages to several growers & attempted contact with vendors in Mexico (native range). Any other suggestions? Or if you happen to have one, lol!

Hi Catherine, I checked Andy’s Orchids thinking he might have one, then Florida Orchid Growing but all to no avail. I’ll check with friends in Trinidad, as that’s one of it’s locations, but so far haven’t located one. Carol

Carol, thanks so much! I'm still searching and going to try some species groups as well.
