ORIGIN: Found in Queensland and New South Wales Australia in swamps, depressions, seepage areas and grassy and shrubby areas at elevations of 5 to 1100 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large to giant sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with large, crowded pseudobulbs carrying 4 to 7, plicate, dark green leaves that blooms in the winter and earlier spring on an erect, 20 to 80 [50 to 200 cm] long, 4 to 16 flowered inflorescence.
