ORIGIN: Found in Brazil from Rio Grande do Sul to Bahia and Minas Gerais states og Brazil at elevations of 500 to 1200 meters in gallery and rainforests.

DESCRIPTION: Large sized, warm to cool growing, 2 to 3 leafed epiphyte with elongated pseudobulbs and 2 to 3, long, narrow, leathery leaves which flowers in the later fall and early winter in Brazil on a 5 [12.5 cm] long, erect, stiff, loosely or densly few to many [5 to 15] flowered, paniculate inflorescence with very fragrant, long-lived, heavy textured flowers and do best in basket or slab culture.
