ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and the Philippines on twigs on trees in primary forests at elevations of 150 to 600 meters near streams and rivers.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 5 to 6, close set, fleshy, oblong leaves that blooms in the spring on to 3, more or less erect, minutely prickly, becoming thickened towards the apex, to 1.4 [3.5 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers.
