The announcement below came in my email today.  As an American Orchid Society Judge and hobby grower I will miss OrchidWiz immensely.  It is incredilby user friendly and useful.  If you just have part of a name you can often locate the rest of it.  It has been helpfull in many ways - awards, photos, clonal names, articles, culture and much more.  I wish Alex and Marianne the very best in the future.

Sincerely,  Carol Holdren

AOS Judge, West Palm Beach Judging Center

Dear OrchidWiz Community,

We want to thank you for a wonderful 17 years. It has been a great journey and we have enjoyed sharing our passion for orchids with you. Though not an easy decision, we have decided to close OrchidWiz on December 31, 2022.

We want you to know that until Dec. 31, we will continue to release updates and provide support. The last shipment will be OrchidWiz X9.1 in early to mid-December. We will provide support until the end of the month. If OrchidWiz X8.2 is your last update, you may purchase the quarterly update and maintenance plan. Please be aware that you will receive X8.3, the upgrade to X9 and X9.1.

Thank you for your business, for all the stories, data, and images that you shared with us and the greater community.

We wish you continued joy growing orchids.

Fondly,

The Team at OrchidWiz

Alex & Marianna

Despite OrchidWiz coming to a close we purchased the latest, and last, release of this amazing program so as not to lose the wealth of information already available. I am currently participating in the Queensland Orchid Judges Course 2023 and find OrchidWiz of immense value and assistance. We wish the team at Orchidwiz the very best and thank them for their efforts at compiling such a useful repository of orchid data. Regards Dennis & Linda andison Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
