Brasso-cattleya x tramandahy hort.
A natural hybrid between Brassavola tuberculata and Cattleya leopoldii.
Plant: See the illustration for Brassocattleya X lindleyana. The leaves can vary in thickness and length, from 12cm to 24cm. Leaves are terete, deeply grooved, and succulent.
Flowers: Large star-shaped white flowers with varying degrees of blushing. Fragrant, most strongly in the evening and at night.
Bloomtimes: Winter to spring.
Habitat: Epiphytic and lithophytic.
Distribution: Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Culture: Considered an easy plant, suitable for beginners. Bright light, with good humidity and excellent air circulation. Grow with other Cattleya, particularly the bifoliates.
