Dave Corkrum

Dave Corkrum was a charter volunteer for OrchidMania back in 1989. After 4 years of tireless work and leadership, he's our Immediate Past President.

In addition to his tireless efforts on behalf of OrchidMania, Dave grows a variety of orchids at home. He utilizes a covered cool growing area for orchids that enjoy outdoor Bay Area conditions, as well as a heated greenhouse for warm growers such as Vanilla.

Dave's other passion: he collects classical music boxes (the really cool large ones) and the large pressed metal cylinders that play in the boxes. The sounds these wooden marvels produce are stunning!

Dave has been one of the most stalwart and steadfast volunteers for OrchidMania through the years and we're delighted to have him as our President. Since his tenure began, Dave has helped see OrchidMania through some fantastic greenhouse expansion efforts, as well as our most successful Mother's Day sales yet!
